ABOUT

APTIKOM formulates that the field of study of RPL is divided into 5 (five) types, namely (1) Computing, (2) Software Engineering, (3) Mathematics and Statistics, (4) Computer Architecture, and (5) Multimedia. Currently, in Indonesia the need for workers in this field is very high. This need was also emphasized by the Minister of Communication and Information who stated that Indonesia had an emergency for programmers. Of course, similar conditions are also experienced by the provinces in Indonesia, including the province of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).

The high demand for labor in this field can be seen from the large number of job vacancies on a number of job seeker sites. On Jobstreet.com and linkedin.com there are more than 2000 job vacancies. In addition, the spread of digital start-ups in Indonesia also provides many job opportunities for graduates in the RPL field. The need for manpower in this field is also the impact of the industrial revolution 4.0. Where the industrial revolution 4.0 is marked by the use of information and communication technology in various fields. There are 9 main pillars of the 4.0 industrial revolution, all of which require expertise in the field of software engineering.
